Timing Belt

Timing belts synchronise the cycles of your engine’s camshaft and crankshaft. This lets air in and exhaust gases out at just the right time. Car Parts 4 Less sells timing belts for engines of all shapes and sizes.

By synchronising the crankshaft and the camshaft, the timing belts allows the inlet valves to open so that the engine takes in air and expels toxic fumes at just the right point in the cycle. To achieve this, timing belts must travel around pulleys at a constant speed and in a regular motion. To maintain your engine’s performance, it’s important that you replace your timing belt after every period of 60,000 to 100,000 miles. If you hear rattling noises in the engine bay or you notice erratic ignition timing, then the timing belt may be the culprit. We advise replacing a worn belt as soon as possible to stop your engine grinding to a complete halt. For huge savings, buy your new timing belt from Car Parts 4 Less.
