Bougicord Crankshaft Sensor
This sensor has a permanent magnet at the end of the sensor. This is located next to the flywheel ring gear or toothed wheel fitted to the Crankshaft pulley. As the teeth/ring gear passes the sensor a magnetic field changes which then sends a signal to the ECU.
